While a conventional grill cooks meat at around 750°F, the Steak Master produces temperatures around 1500°F. This intense heat seals the surface of the meat to lock in moisture to prevent it from drying out like it would with conventional BBQs or pan frying. With a height adjustable design, two trays, and a grill rack, Steak Master provides plenty of space to make multiple steaks, as well as fish, grilled veggies, and desserts for a delicious restaurant experience at home.

Would this be perfect for sous vide meat?

Steak Master is the perfect finishing touch to meat cooked sous vide.

Is there a temperature gauge display or hear sensor control ?

There is not a temperature gauge. Use an internal meat thermometer to measure the temperature of the meat. A quick cook guide is included to help get you started in cooking with Steak Master.

Do you usually flip the steak to cook both sides?

The Steak Master cooks one side of the steak at a time. 2-3 minutes on each side and then rest the meat for 10 minutes or so before serving.

Can you cook more than one steak at a time?

Steak Master can handle two smaller cuts of meat like filet mignon. With quick cooking times, it's not a problem to cook one steak at a time and then let it rest.

How long would the steaks need to sear if they’ve been cooked sous vide first?

Searing after cooking sous vide will be a personal preference. 30 seconds to one minute on each side will work nicely for most people.

Since its outdoor use only, does it come with a cover or should it be covered for protection?

It does not come with a cover.
However, the Steak Master is designed to weather the elements. It can be kept under a cover or put away when not in use. Keep it clean and the surface should last years.

Does it come with a carrying case?

Steak Master does not come with a carry case at this time. The box works great for safe keeping while moving it around.
