Pillbox Bat Co.

Pillbox Bat Co. started over two decades ago when the founders Zak Fellman and Dan Watson were playing little league baseball together— Zak as a pitcher and Dan as a shortstop. They made their first homespun bats from tree limbs and house paint, quickly putting them to use launching tennis balls and racquetballs in roughly organized home run derbys and pick-up ballgames around the neighborhood. Today, Zak and Dan continue to craft and hand paint artisan baseball bats in their shop in Winona, Minnesota. Now equipped with the proper tools and materials, the rest has been a home run.
