From 1892 through 1954, the U.S. Mint produced special commemorative coins for 53 different events, occasions, and individuals. This resulted in the production of over 180 silver and gold commemorative coins during that time period. Offered here is a silver half dollar commemorating the journey of the settlers on the Oregon Trail. This is a gem uncirculated coin set certified by PCGS in MS65 and MS66 condition. This set contains all three coins originally release as a set in 1938 and includes the P, D, & S mintage. You will receive the unique coin shown in the photos housed in a deluxe collector's pouch with a certificate of authenticity.
