Product Description

Say goodbye to worrying about passwords and keys— Everykey is a Bluetooth device that uses military grade security to replace them all! Just connect it to your compatible devices via Bluetooth, and Everykey will automatically unlock your phone, laptop, tablet, house door, car door, and other access-controlled devices when you are nearby, then locks them back down when you walk away.

Everykey also works for websites. When you first login to a website, your Everykey remembers that login. The next time you visit that website, Everykey will log you in automatically. It can also generate secure and random passwords for your accounts, then automatically log you in the next time you visit that website. You can also enable Everykey Two Factor Authentication for an added layer of security. Easily protect your devices and web accounts with two layers of authentication—your Everykey, as well as a biometric or pin.

With the Everykey app, you can pair your Everykey to your devices, manage Everykey settings such as Everykey Two Factor, and freeze your Everykey if it is ever lost or stolen. The Everykey app also pushes the latest over-the-air software updates to your Everykey so you can stay up to date on features and security standards.

FAQ
What about logins through game consoles or TVs?

This is not currently a supported feature, but it is on the roadmap for devices that support Bluetooth Low Energy.

What if you are forced to change your password; will it update automatically?

Yes, your password will update automatically.

Does it work in other countries, like say Australia?

It will work wherever you are, it is not dependent on location. All you need is to make sure your Bluetooth is active.

Does it work as a VPN?

No, Everykey is not a VPN.

Who's the 3rd party monitoring it?

Everykey's software is audited by RSM (formerly SecureState) as well as Urity Group.

What if it gets broken or wet?

If you lose or break your Everykey, you can purchase a replacement Everykey and pair it to your account. All of your data and saved passwords are stored in your account, not on the Everykey device itself, so your replacement will have access to that data.

Everykey is water-resistant.

What if you lose this? Is there a way to erase it so someone can’t just randomly log into what’s saved on it?

If you lose your Everykey, you can remotely freeze it so that no one else can access it. You can also enable Everykey Two-Factor so that you would need your Everykey as well as a second factor, such as a fingerprint or pin, in order to access your passwords. Nothing is saved on the Everykey device itself, so no one would be able to retrieve any data off of the Everykey device.

If you want to delete the data stored in your account, you can reach out to Everykey to have it deleted.

If someone has an Everykey near me when I logon, can they steal my passwords?

In order for Everykey to work, the Everykey Applications and Browser Extensions need to be installed on the devices you want to use it on, and then the Everykey itself needs to be paired to those devices through those Applications. A random Everykey cannot just listen in and retrieve logons from any computer.

In addition, when logging in on a computer where Everykey has been set up, Everykey will prompt you if you want to save that password, and you can click "Save" or "Cancel" (which will then not save that password) and there is also checkbox to "Don't Ask on this Website".

What if the battery runs out?

Everykey has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to two weeks and can be charged via its Micro USB port with the included charging cable.

What if I have multiple logins and passwords for the same website?

Everykey can store all of them as a different credential within the Password Manager! You will see them all listed as different credentials or usernames under the same website, and then when you want to login on that website Everykey will ask you which username you want to login with!

How about RFID enabled doorlocks?

Currently, Everykey requires Bluetooth Low Energy to operate.

What is the expected lifetime of the product or is the battery replaceable? If it isn't, then what if the company goes out of business after battery lifetime expires? Can it operate on an external battery charger pack?

Everykey has a 1-year Limited Warranty, but the battery is rated for approximately 300 charge cycles. The battery is not replaceable. Everykey is not built or certified to operate on an external battery charger pack.

Nothing is stored on the Everykey itself, all data is securely stored in your Everykey Vault on our secure servers. You can access this data with a master password if you lose your Everykey or it no longer works, you can also pair a new Everykey to your Everykey Vault account and have access to the same data. You can also export all of your data from your Everykey Vault account.

Can I use two or more of these devices, programming each one to mirror the other?

Yes. Passwords and data are stored within your Everykey Vault account, so all you would need to do is pair your two Everykeys to the same Everykey Vault account and they would be able to access the same data. Your passwords and data would also be synced across all of your computers and phones that have been set up with this Everykey Vault account.

How safe is the data?

We take security very seriously here at Everykey. We use four layers of encryption including AES 128-bit, AES 256-bit, and RSA 4096-bit encryption, which are used in military and other government applications. We have also gone through multiple security audits by an independent security auditing firm, RSM, and received the best score possible during each audit! You can learn more about our security practices here: https://everykey.com/security

Rest assured, your security is our top priority!

If your Bluetooth fails on your mobile device what is the default process for logging in?

Everykey utilizes the PIN as the lock-type, so that would be your default. However, you can also enable biometrics, such as a fingerprint, in addition to the PIN and use that as well.

In what country are your information servers located?

We use AWS and they are in the USA.

Is this product EMP proof?

Unfortunately, as Everykey is a wireless device, this would make it completely inoperable. Making something EMP-proof, such as using a Faraday Cage, prevents all wireless signals from transmitting into, or out of, that device.

Are your cloud-based servers and secured vaults as secure or move secure as the Everykey units are said to be?

All of the data stored on an Everykey secure server is stored under four layers of AES 128-bit, AES 256-bit, and RSA 4096-bit encryption, the same encryption used by the military to protect top-secret documents. The final layer is encrypted using an encryption key that's only stored on your Everykey and the devices that it unlocks, so our company, or anyone (such as a bad actor) who somehow gains access to these servers, has no way of decrypting your data.
