Holy Land, Judaea. Old Testament period. Iron Age oil lamp, c. 1300 - 1200 BC. Large, nice wheel-made buff clay oil lamp with classic 'pinched' nozzle and rounded bottom. Spout is still blackened from use. Intact, earthen encrustation throughout.
