Spanish copper "pirate" money. Excellent large copper 8-Maravedis coin struck by Philippe III of Spain, 1598-1626 AD. Lion within shield with crown, HISPANIARVM REX; date to right / Castle within shield with crown, PHILIPPVS III D G. Coin VF, with deep coppery tone, excellent detail. Set into a stunning custom .925 silver bezel adorned with 3 genuine garnets!

Every coin is unique but similar in condition and appearance. The one you will receive might be slightly different and not necessarily the same as pictured, however they each date from between 1601 and 1626 AD.
