Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with laurel leaves and vine scroll / Owl standing right, head facing; above and behind, olive sprig, and crescent; ΑΘΕ, all within incuse square. Ancient bankers' countermarks and test cuts made by ancient merchants while in circulation!
