Ancient Troy, Anatolia, Early Bronze Age II, c. 2700 - 2400 BC. Wonderful and rare Yortan black-ware ceramic two-handled juglet, with body ovoid and flared mouth and single looped handle. Minor rim chipping. Attractive grey mottled surfaces, ancient earthen deposits.
